MOSCA Collegiate Scholarship
The Missouri Sporting Clays Association (MOSCA) awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to support students pursuing higher education who are active in the Missouri sporting clays community.
The scholarship is open to applicants ages 17–25 who demonstrate strong academic commitment, good citizenship, and participation in MOSCA/NSCA sporting clays activities. Applicants may attend an accredited university, college, community college, or trade school.
Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours) and a C average to continue receiving scholarship payments. A maximum of $4,000 may be awarded to any individual over four years, and recipients may reapply if eligibility requirements are met.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be a legal Missouri resident for at least 6 months
Be an NSCA member
Have shot at least 500 registered Missouri NSCA targets prior to applying
Be a high school graduate or eligible graduating senior
Plan to attend an accredited institution of higher education
Application Materials
Applicants must submit:
Completed scholarship application form
250-word essay describing goals and why they should receive the scholarship
Letter of recommendation (teacher, counselor, instructor, etc.)
Official transcript from the school registrar
Record of shooting history and accomplishments
